bitbased
Turn any file into a WAV of tones, and back again, optionally protected by a password or a key. Everything runs in your browser. Your files, passwords and keys never leave this device.
- Encode Turn a file or text into a WAV.
- Decode Turn a bitbased WAV back into the original file.
- Keys Make a key file for stronger encryption than a password.
- How it works The tones, the file format and the security model.
WAVs are big: about 96 times the size of the (compressed) input. A 10 MB file that doesn’t compress becomes a WAV of about 1 GB. Make sure you have the disk space before encoding large files.
